
After graduating from college, Ken was drafted into the Army. He was stationed in the DMZ, Ken’s unit was responsible for ranging and directing artillery fire. Ken’s duties also included flying in a “Bird Dog”, a Cessna light fixed wing aircraft, to provide fire missions to artillery units. After Ken had left his base to return home, his base was over-run by North Vietnamese units and was never reclaimed by South Vietnamese and American forces.

Steve is currently a resident of Bellevue Nebraska. Steve has served in both the Navy and the Air Force. Steve enlisted in the Navy in November of 1971 and transferred directly into the Air Force without any break in service to complete a professional military career of 25 years. Originally from Jacksonville Florida, born in at the Naval base where his father was stationed.

Born in Bismarck, ND on June 4, 1945, Fred graduated from Bismarck High School and then attended Valley City College. Fred completed 2 years at VCSC and started working in construction. Fred joined the Air Force in 1967 and after basic military training Fred was assigned to Sheppard AFB TX. After successfully completing his technical training, Fred returned home to Bismarck, became married and he and his bride left to Mountain Home AFB in Idaho to begin their military journey. In 1969 Fred was deployed for a tour in Vietnam and was stationed as an experienced Medical Supply Specialist. In Vietnam Fred was able to further hone his skills and help insure that the medical equipment and supplies were available wherever needed throughout Vietnam and supporting areas. Fred returned to the States and completed a successful career, retiring as a Master Sergeant.
